For transferring purposes how does one determine if they are coming from a TTT or a T4. I mean HYS, CCN, T14, Tier 1, and Top 50 are clear(ish) to me, but beyond that where are the cut-off lines.
Also, how much does TTT v. T4 matter to non HYSCCN schools?

Schools will autoadmit students until they hit capacity because transfer students are full-tuition-paying windfalls.

I always thought TTT was 100+ and T4 (or TTTT) were unranked.

US News Rankings. 100-150 is TTT. 150+ (which is technically unranked--RNP) is TTTT

The appendix of each school's 509 report shows which schools people transferred from to that school in the prior year. Looking at the past 3 or so years for the schools you are looking to transfer to should give you an idea if your target school ever--or how often--has taken transfers from the school you currently attend. Don't worry about the TTT/TTTT distinction. You can find them here:
