Emory Law Spring 2017 Transfer
Has anyone been accepted or heard from the admissions for the Spring 2017 transfer cycle? Admissions notified my application was complete 10/10...with finals approaching I'm on pins and needles. Emory typically accepted transfers in the Fall only, so I guess it is a new program?

I don't think Emory has Spring transfer tho... I submitted a transfer application for Fall 2016, got in, paid seat deposit then I deferred it to Spring 2017...so technically Im sort of "spring transferred" to Emory

What is your motivation for transferring after three semesters? Just doesn't seem worth it to me...

I always wanted to go to Emory. But I had to work so I went part time at another school. Situation changed and now I can go full time.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:What is your motivation for transferring after three semesters? Just doesn't seem worth it to me...

If money isn't an issue and you want to -- go for it (esp. if you want to practice in the southeast). I transferred from a T1 to a vandy/nd/emory/washu in my home market and it helped my job search tremendously. But I didn't have a ton of financial considerations.Anonymous User wrote:I always wanted to go to Emory. But I had to work so I went part time at another school.
