DEPOSIT FEE DILEMMA
I got into a school and the deposit fee is due July 21. However, the school I really want to go to has not made a decision yet. I do not know what to because I do not want to lose $1000, if the school I am waiting for accepts me.

Re: DEPOSIT FEE DILEMMA
Ask the school you're waiting on whether they can expedite your decision due to a deposit deadline at another school.

You can also ask the other school for an extension to submit the seat deposit. I got a couple of schools to extend the deadline an extra week. I'd be surprised if you didn't hear back from the school you want to go to by the 21, though.

Yeah, based on most schools suggested timelines for acceptance, you should likely hear back from most of them - if not all of them - sometime this week. So, you may not run into an issue, with any luck.UCLAHopeful16 wrote:You can also ask the other school for an extension to submit the seat deposit.
