Penn Transfer 2016

Post by lawtransfer2016 » Tue Jun 28, 2016 4:23 pm

Has anyone heard back from Penn? Had an interview last week and was unsure when to expect a response. Saw from last year's thread could be a couple days or over a week.

Does everyone who gets accepted conduct interviews? i.e. If we don't get an interview request are we auto dings?

I received my offer by telephone the Monday following my Friday interview. I think it's a good sign if you're told at the end of the interview to expect a decision soon or in the next week; they wouldn't do that if it's just to crush you. Don't get too worried if you're not told when they'll contact you. They may keep you on deck if an accepted student withdraws.

Had an interview last Friday, but haven't heard back yet and still listed as "Under Committee Review." I guess it's safe to assume that I'm in that holding deck?
All I can say for sure is that the status checker listed me as under committee review until near the end of that Tuesday, after the phone call and after the acceptance email. Let us know how it turns out and good luck.

UR since 6/30; still radio silence. Don't really mind since I'll be going to Berkeley, but still interested in seeing if I at least get an interview request.

Same here... Radio silence...

Penn, NYU, Cornell... a little acknowledgement would be nice :( :( :(
