For posterity:
Low T1 (40's), #2/95, 3.96GPA
Got the "Your application is complete, we will evaluate it in the order we received it" email, but no status checker...is that what everyone else got???

I received a link to the status checker after they received my initial application.

Thank you, the link worked for me. I wonder if they sent me the wrong email by accident, it said something along the lines of "we look forward to potentially welcoming you to our class of 2019..."

I got the same email, which I thought was odd. Glad to know I wasn't the only one!fistfullofdollhairs wrote:You're welcome. Anyone know what the deal is with the Dean's Appraisal? Is it actually given any weight? The person responsible for this type of thing at my school is the Registrar and I doubt he/she will have the time or personal knowledge to evaluate my "Overall Intelligence," or "Self-Confidence."

Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
If you are not comfortable letting them handle the form. You can simply have them mail a standard letter of good standing to Columbia as a substitute of the dean's appraisal form. I called Columbia and they told me it's acceptable. I was having the same concern.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:Anyone know what the deal is with the Dean's Appraisal? Is it actually given any weight? I had at least one school just tell me they were noping out of that form and just sending a standard one. No big deal, from what I can tell.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:Anyone know what the deal is with the Dean's Appraisal? Is it actually given any weight? Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
The way I read the instructions, Dean's Cert/ LOGS need only to be sent from colleges where you were matriculated in a degree program. So, if you merely took a summer course at a community college or something similar, it would not be required. Thoughts? I'll obviously check with them but any less paperwork I can do, the better. . . .

My status checker has said "application complete" for about a week. Will it ever change to "under review," or will it just go from complete to decision rendered?

Probably will go under review at some point, but I wouldn't get too ancy, seeing as their deadline isn't even until July 15th.tebowtime23 wrote:My status checker has said "application complete" for about a week. Hrm, Columbia is still sitting incomplete for me. Had been waiting until closer to deadline to call and pester, but apparently I should be on that now.

Thanks!specterdraperaxe wrote:Congrats guys!!!
Can you guys post dates when applied, complete, and stats?
Applied 6/14
Complete 6/15
3.96, #2 at T1 in the mid 40's
Hope this helps. I wouldn't be too worried, historically this seems to be very early, and I am sure there are PLENTY of more admissions coming out.

Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
You have to have the transcripts sent from your school to CLSEncyclopediaOrange wrote:Columbia accepts LSAC transcripts right? All of my LSAC application materials are checked except my transcripts....
