Resume
When is it too early to change my resume to reflect the new school I'm transferring to in the fall? I know I still have to keep all my old school info on their too.
I don't want to be overly anxious and/or douchey, but I'm sending my resume to a few people this week and want to indicate that I'm transferring.
Any benefit to this? Any ideas/thoughts/etc?

I don't see the harm, then. Hell, email CSO at your new school about how to approach transfer resumes.Anonymous User wrote:Yes. Two weeks ago to my number one choice.

The second you get your acceptance letter is when you add it to your resume. It couldn't possibly be construed as douchey because you've been accepted, it's official now.Anonymous User wrote:Yes. Two weeks ago to my number one choice.

Re: Resume
Yeah once you've been accepted (and send the deposit) you're a student at the new school. Take full advantage of that fact as early as you can.

Re: Resume
Thanks, everyone. I just didn't know if transfers usually wait till right before the new school year starts or if people will think it's premature considering I won't start at my new school for almost two months. In any event, I think there's some benefit to starting the job hunt early and networking with my new school on my resume, so I'm gonna add it on there.
