First cycle LOR to transfer school (in addition to new letter/s)?
Does anyone have any input on this? An employer wrote me a great LOR a year ago and now I am attempting to transfer LS. I've tried searching for this topic on this forum and have failed, but I'm just wondering what anyone thinks about this. The employer is based in the area of the LS I'd like to transfer to. I've obtained two "new" LORs already, but this school allows additional submission.

If it's a substantive job (especially full time, career type thing - as opposed to my manager at Domino's or my 2 month internship) AND you have a couple of professsor emails already, I don't think it can hurt.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone have any input on this? I did this... didn't get in to the schools that I thought I would based on my numbers. Not sure if this had anything to do with the rejections. In fact, its likely that it had no bearing on the denial, but that is my experience fwiw.
One thing to consider: When you submit the old PS, it will show up on your application including the date that it was originally submitted to LSAC, which to me, didn't look great.

OP here. This response has me a tiny bit worried, but I think I'll do it. Hope I don't shoot myself in the foot haha.RaceJudicata wrote:I did this... didn't get in to the schools that I thought I would based on my numbers. Yeah - I'd say you are probably ok. In the end, there is absolutely no way to tell what makes or breaks an application (so long as your numbers give you a fighting chance). Good luck!Anonymous User wrote:OP here. This response has me a tiny bit worried, but I think I'll do it. Only submit the two new ones. Don't waste the school's time with the old oneAnonymous User wrote:Does anyone have any input on this?
