Chance me TTT -> T1
T2-T3. Cumulative GPA is 3.4, and Top 15-16%. Great LOR's from two professors, good softs, and worked in legal field for two years before school.

I think you a good chance at Emory. I just got in last week. Also Emory is great if you plan to practice in FLA

GULC will be tough. I think Florida and Emory are both doable. Not sure about Vandy.(I just don't know)
Assuming you get into both UF and Emory, do you qualify for in-state tuition at UF? If so, I think I'd take UF over Emory if you want to practice in Florida due to the cost difference. But if finances aren't an issue, that's a different story.

Definitely apply to Vandy. I got in from TT 15%.Timshe1 wrote:T2-T3 currently in FL, which curves from 2.9 to a 3.1. Cumulative GPA is 3.403, and Top 15-16%. I would qualify for in-state tuition. Want to eventually work in both GA and FL. Have a big scholly now, but obviously will change if I can transfer.

eyes, do you have any idea if the fact that my school has been in both the 90's and very low 100's the past couple of years will make a difference to the admissions offices?
The rank right now is in the very low 100's, but the school has been know to traditionally be TT.

I think you'll still be fine. Vandy seems to care more about ties to the area and fit with the school. The interview is probably more important, so I would focus on doing well on that.Timshe1 wrote:eyeofvigilence wrote:Definitely apply to Vandy. Emory will not offer $ I just got accepted last week. 3.8+ T4. Your situation is similar to mine because I am also a FLA resident and will probably get into UF which means I will pay 20k per year contrary to 50k. I need to make a decision soon.

Do you want to practice in FL or perhaps somewhere in the SE region? Emory still has pull within FL
