has anyone went from 60% in first semester to Top 20% by the end of the year (fall + spring gpa combined)?
Is this possible? mathematically.

Of course it's possible. Just very unlikely. You would need like a 4.1-4.2ish on most curves. That's like 3 A+s and an A.
