At T20, considering trying to transfer to HSY. I'm trying to figure out which profs to possibly ask for letters. Below is a brief description of the choices.
1. LRW prof. from Semester 1-- did well in the class, and was always active participant. Prof. is an alum from my current school, so not sure if there would be loyalty issues/reluctance to write a transfer letter.
2. Large section professor from fall-- Got along well with prof, but got an A- in the class.
3. Large section professor from current semester-- very active in the class, and have been to office hours. Prof definitely knows who I am, and I think we get along fairly well. Obviously don't have a grade for the class yet.
4. Other large section professor from current semester-- prof is fairly well-known nationally, and has been visiting prof. at all of the top schools. I'm an active participant in class, and have been by office hours/sent emails with questions. not sure that prof actually knows who any of us are, and, as above, don't have a grade for the class yet.
I wouldn't particularly feel comfortable asking my other two profs from fall semester. I'm sort of thinking profs 1 and 4 as first choice. What do you all think?
