That GPA is probably problematic, as you state. Given that GPA is the overriding factor for transfers, that looks... not great.

What makes you believe that you will be raising it a quarter of a point this coming semester?

I made studying improvements so it's likely that I will do the same if not better in terms of grades this semester.

I'm confused. You have a 2.95 now, but if you get the same grades then your cumulative would somehow go up to 3.2? Perhaps your school does something odd that I'm missing here, but that's not how things work. Typically, one semester at 2.95 would need to balance with a 3.45 to achieve a 3.2 average (assuming eqaul hours).

As to studying improvements, that's a good plan, and I wish you all the best. What you are hoping to do is far from impossible, and with proper work and analysis is very doable, but don't make the mistake of assuming it's easy, or likely.

What school are you attempting to transfer from? What are your career goals? I'd echo the confusion about your GPA inexplicably rising after similar grades.

Yes, the user above me was right about my GPA! I am currently at Golden Gate, and I hope to be in litigation, either as a PD or immigration attorney.

I found this confusing too. The only thing I can guess is that he has a couple year-long courses where he did well on the fall exams, but they don't factor into GPA until after spring.

I made a mistake about the GPA comment--sorry everyone.
