Negotiating with Penn

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Feb 18, 2016 3:24 pm

Hey all,

I'm putting off my SJ brief right now (ungraded LPS is the shit), and have a question. I pulled a 4.0 after my first semester here at Penn. Dunno how really. Anyways, if (big if) I was able to do well again this semester and got a transfer acceptance to Harvard, would I be able to leverage some more scholarship money out of Penn?

I searched all over the forum but it seems like this is school/individual specific. For what it's worth I got in off the waitlist, and have only a tiny need based scholarship. I'm pretty positive I could actually get a better scholarship from Harvard, even as a transfer. I really like it here, but if I could transfer to Harvard and actually end up less in debt i'd do it in a heartbeat. Just wondering if anyone has experience specifically with Penn's policy on increasing scholarships, or has any advice on who I could talk to and see if this would even be an option.
