Letter of Rec.

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Feb 14, 2016 7:05 pm

Hey everyone,

Long story short is that I am at a T-25. I did fairly well last semester, ended up top 20-25% of the class. While I know these numbers aren't ideal for transferring into schools in the t-14, I still want to send out some applications for personal reasons. Only problem Is that I never really developed a strong relationship with any of my professors. I met with a couple of them like once or twice, but that's basically it. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice on asking? Thanks for the help.

Did you ever go to office hours once (or more), did you better in one class than another? Just set a meeting, show up at their office and ask.

Yea I went to officers hours like once in each class. I also had lunch with both professors that I would be asking. Idk for whatever reason I thought the kids who got letters of rec were the ones who always participate in class and frequent office hours.

They'll all write you a letter regardless. They have generic letters for these things. Of course, it's always better to have something more personalized, but I'm sure their generic versions are sufficiently glowing.
