Hello Smart People!
I have a quick questions for all of you. I am currently a 1L at a law school ranked in the 80s on USNEWS. Ended up with a 3.0 gpa this past semester and I think I can get it up to a 3.2 (realistically) as my first year overall average. Here is my question. I wrote an LSAT addendum when I was applying for first year admissions for an extremely low LSAT. I basically said the LSAT and standardized exams in general, historically speaking, have not been an accurate predictor of potential my success in school. Should I write another LSAT addendum for the schools I am applying to transfer too? I am applying to a couple schools ranked between 17-35 on USNEWS. These are top schools so I am not sure. Will an extremely low LSAT without explanation hurt my chances of transfer admissions?
Also, I wrote another addendum because before law school, I started a part time masters in education program. I took two classes, hated them and withdrew from the program. I think I still need to submit that transcript from that school to all the law schools I am applying to. That transcript currently has 2 W's and nothing else. Should I submit a grad school addendum to the law schools I am thinking about transferring too? explaining why the masters program was not a fit for me? Can those 2 Ws without explanation hurt my chances of admissions? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am black (URM). but I don't think that matters anymore.
