Sounds useful. Would definitely appreciate advice/information about EIW bids, write-on, and classes.

I didn't find any affordable options around Manattan. Thinking of NJ or Brooklyn. Does anyone have information on which parts of NJ/Brooklyn are studnet-friendly/must be avoided?felinafelina wrote:Just got accepted today, pretty pumped.

Re: NYU Transfer Class Admits
hi congrats rising 2L here
tagging in in case you all have questions
eta:
NJ: Hoboken/Jersey City/Harrison/Newark, the farther you go, the cheaper it gets, and the longer your commute
same thing in new york..if you get far out from Manhattan, you can find affordable places, but obviously it gets to be a lengthy commute
I can't speak to safety of neighborhoods, but think about places in Queens (Astoria maybe) and farther afield in Brooklyn
there are also "affordable" places in Manhattan, but depends what you're looking for and what your definition of affordable is

I've heard that Bushwick, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Prospect Heights are kinda artsy-hipstery areas in Brooklyn - no idea how accurate this is, just throwing it out there though. Anyone else feel free to confirm/deny!

It's really just block-by-block, even in the Village or Park Slope.

If there's not one we should make one - doesn't look like there is!
