As many of you are in the same boat, I am currently on "hold" at UChicago. I thought it was a good idea to start a thread so we all can get a better idea of how many of us are out there.

Goldie and Hudson were both accepted into Harvard FWIW. I'm assuming they withdrew as well.

Any other information about yourself or others on the waitlist of admitted list would be very helpful. More information means a better prediction of each person's chances.

Seat deposit deadline for those admitted on July 8-9 just passed a few minutes ago. Hopefully many did not accept and held applications start to go under review soon.

I sent in my seat deposit yesterday and will be attending Chicago. Not sure if you are tracking RD commits, but that'll inform at least the potential number of spots available after the 15 from ED.

I was put on hold after ED interviews pending receipt of my second semester grades. Was admitted the day after they received my updated transcript. (My post was responding to the request above about admitted students who have submitted seat deposits).
