Is it worth it?
Is transferring schools to be in the city you want to practice in worth it if you are doing it just to develop a network there? The move I am considering has nearly identical "prestige" and cost.

Need more info. Job placement stats of each school, law review, etc. Why not just name the two law schools in question ?

I'm in a nearly identical position. Same schools and everything. Cost is a wash. I'm just concerned socially it's the wrong move. Is this a stupid concern?trebekismyhero wrote:If cost is exactly the same and you want to be in LA make the switch.Anonymous User wrote:Staying at Emory v. going to UCLA. No law review. Not stupid, but not something that should keep you from transferring if it will make your career a lot easierlawiswhack wrote:I'm in a nearly identical position. Same schools and everything.
