Anyone have an idea of transfer chances to UCLA from fringe of T1, (so high T2), top 30%? Worth to throw an app their way with work experience, military, and federal externship this summer?

I think you have a good shot. I got in earlier this week. T1 approximately top 20% but my class rank hasn't be released yet.

Right below top 1/3 at a T20. Anyone know how good my chances are? My application went complete last week, so I hope I find out something this week.

transferred to ucla from a t1 last year top 25% of the class, love it here, got an SA from oci, things going well...

I applied late June, around this time, and got in shortly after July 4th..think it was like July 8th/9th, it was right before the OCI bidding deadline

If you are at T1 with top 30% #s or better I think you have a good shot. Happy to answer any questions.

If you get an interview then things are lookin good!

Did you get interviewed for transfer admissions? UCLA just interviewed me today. I am trying to transfer from a regional T4 with a 3.87 GPA.

I did get interviewed. I got in about a week later. Regional T4? I know some transfers from both Pepperdine and southwestern so I think you have a good shot

I don't think everyone gets an interview, but it's a very good sign if you do. Had my interview last week, in the next day...

Interview is a good sign. If you're curious about what they might ask, they asked me nothing out of the ordinary, e.g., why I want to transfer, how my 1Lyr went, etc. I got the acceptance email an hour later.

Yes I also interviewed last week and was admitted next day. Mid T2, ~top15%, with fairly substantial work experience. My understanding is that they will try to make most of their decisions by end of next week in time for OCI deadlines.

Any updates?? I feel like I've been holding my breath since my interview last week. UCLA is my top choice!! I'm getting distracted checking my phone and email every chance I get.

I submitted my application on June 30th, it went complete on Thursday and I interviewed yesterday and was accepted an hour later.

Stats: TT 15%.
