Hello TLSers,
background: I am currently at one unranked law school (but they say we have a good local reputation). My grade is around 3.53, the rank has not been posted yet, but i think i am at 15%-20%. I got a distinguish brief and oral argument. I have a master degree and couple years of working experience in a foreign lawfirm as an associate. My target is lawfirm in east coast (NYC,BOS,DC). (it seems to be my only option since Engligh is not my first language) But the problem is only about 15-20 students end up in big law from my current law school every year.
questions: Should I transfer to a better law school ? what are my chances to T1 schools like fordham, BU, BC ? Is there any other law schools worth trying? Thanks.

Re: TTTT transfer advice?
Your situation is a bit complicated. At 15-20% from a TTTT I would guess your mobility is limited. If your school has a good local rep, places 15-20 students in biglaw every year, and you have a decent scholarship, why not stay put? Whatever mobility you do have probably isn't enough to make a difference in job opportunities, and those pluses like your master degree and years of WE in a foreign lawfirm are probably worth more alone than whatever the change in job opp landscape might be post-transfer.
