Transferring from Low t14 school to NYU/Columbia
Have strong NYC connection and currently have median gpa in a low T14 school chances of acceptance at either?

I would suspect that it is unlikely. Anyway, if you are median at a T14 you should be able to secure desirable employment, if you consider biglaw to be desirable, from where you are now.
