Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

When to submit applications?

I am not quite sure when applications for transfer are supposed to be submitted. LSAC opens within the next month, but any application submitted will be incomplete due to Spring semester grades. Do we go ahead and submit the application as soon as they open with the knowledge that it will need to be updated once grades come out in June? Or do we wait to submit when grades are actually out?

Thanks for any feedback.

You don't need to send in regular decision applications until you get final grades.

I'm not sure that submitting your apps early and supplementing it with final grades would be a bad idea - unless your first semester grades weren't that great that is. After all, why would they even have the application available in April if they don't expect you to submit anything until June?

They won't review an application until it is complete. I do not think there is any harm in submitting the electronic application and then sending in your official transcript as soon grades are available.
