When to transfer Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

When to transfer

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on when would be the best time to submit transfer applications. Currently attend a TTT and looking to transfer up. The problem is, my school does not record class rank for the 1L fall semester. From my gpa (3.7, really low curve), based upon the last few years, I should be in the top 5%.

Basically, apply now without a class rank, or wait until the end of this semester?

Thanks for any insight.

Dont worry about the rank!

A lot of schools don't rank. My school doesnt even have a curve. Send your apps as soon as possible.
