I want to start a thread that I think will be helpful for future transfers. Basically, something like this:

Feel free to put actual schools or a rank range if you prefer more anonymity.

Definitely tougher competition but I took only curved classes and know I can raise this.

I don't intend to reply to this in the requested format in the open. While I could post ranges, folks here know exactly where I transferred from and to. I'll leave it at my class rank at my new school was not drastically different than that at my old school.

There was definitely more competition at FSU. I put more effort into my studies at FSU because I actually liked being there. I didn't like being at FIU so I quit reading as a 1L.
