I believe TLS is overly skeptical about transferring up a few schools. I know of people that have gone from t20 to 12-14 from below median. Not saying it's common, but it does happen.

Yea but at that point you're still pretty screwed if you want biglaw. You may have more of a shot soley because you'll get more interviews through the lottery system, but you still won't have good grades. If you're not getting a lot of money at the T20 though, then I think it's fair to at least move up and be mass mailing/graduating from a better school where some doors may be opened for you.Clearly wrote:I believe TLS is overly skeptical about transferring up a few schools. Problem people have told me with that is that because it's EA, the deposit deadlines are sooner. So if you end up getting in somewhere better, you'll lose ~$1k to GULC b/c you'd have to deposit before hearing from anywhere else.LSATobsessed wrote:I am really eyeing the Georgetown Early Action transfer thing. Anyone think it's possible in my situation?
I only get 1/3rd scholly at my current school.
