The structure of a target school's OCI is critically important for transfers, especially the date by which bids are due, the process by which interviews are given, and the date of the first interview. I am unaware of a thread that consolidates this information, so I thought I would start one. If it gets good, maybe it should be stickied, but let's see how it comes out first.

Please respond with your target school's deadline, first interview date, and lottery vs pre-select process if it doesn't already appear here. (You can also provide the data for your current school if you're at a school that people would want to transfer to). Please note the year of the data if you're providing anything other than 2014. I've pre-filled the Tier 1 schools, but I'll add others if they make sense.

They just have a computer run an algorithm to assign all bids, so the turnaround is fast. Employers (and students) get the results before the weekend.

UVA uses preselect + lottery. You have 50 bids and you can get up to 23 interviews. Whatever you don't get by preselect to get you to 23, you get through lottery. If your lottery for some reason doesn't fill up your interviews or you decline some interviews, you can special request firms and usually those special requests are pretty successful.

As a transfer at UVA, the process is identical to the process for everyone else. No idea what the deadlines are this year
