1.) UF
A.) Big Law 2013 = 17.5
B.) Big Law 2012 = 14.1
C.) Big Law 2011 = 15.4
D.) Fed Clerk 2013 = 2.8
E.) Fed Clerk 2012 = 3.9
F.) Fed Clerk 2011 = 3.2
Short-Term/Part Time for UF
a.) 2013 = 7.6%
b.) 2012 = 12.6%
c.) 2011 = 15.2%
Even if you're number 1 at UF, you probably need to make connections to beat out highly ranked UM alum that have connections in Miami

Gonna be pretty hard to get Biglaw w/ only top 25%, but I doubt transferring will make it easier.

Vanderbilt not Alabama if you're going to pick one. Try and use the GPA restart to get closer to the Top 10%

Did you already receive acceptance to Vanderbilt?
If you're big law or bust then transfer to Vanderbilt. I would definitely consider the incurred debt and gained possibility of big law.

Alabama shouldn't even be a consideration. 0% chance you end up at a big firm in Miami from Alabama. Really, there's basically a 0% chance you end up at any big law firm outside of Alabama from Bama, unless you're like top 5% and then maybe you could snag ATL.transferissues wrote:Should I?

I would think Vandy might make it possible if you had started there and done well, but I don't see how transferring from a Florida school that undoubtedly has stronger connection to Miami will make ending up there more likely.
Miami is a tiny market to begin with, so you really need to think of some backup options.
