Transfer Adivce: BLS --> GULC?
Wondering if its worth transferring from Brooklyn Law School to GULC. Have a full scholarship to BLS and am in top 10%. Goal is to work at a big firm in NYC (hopefully). Got into GULC as a transfer. Its a big jump in terms of rank, but I am losing my GPA/Scholarship to do it.

If you want BigLawl, then GULC statistically a much better chance.

im assuming you're still paying for living expenses ... and you stated that you have almost a full scholarship... so you'll have at least 60-80k debt upon graduating unless you have some type of rich uncle or something paying for the rest... do you think you'll be able to pay off this debt and live comfortably making ~50-60k a year? also, do you want nyls on your resume or gulc for the rest of your life? if yes to the both of the above, then stay. if no, and you're willing to take a risk, then go

Thanks for replying!
I am taking out loans for living expenses - will come out to roughly 50K over 3 years. Trying to figure out if my chances of getting into BigLaw is worth the 150k of attending GULC over BLS. I would hope if staying at BLS, I would make more than 50-60k upon graduation, I understand getting into biglaw is very difficult, but hopefully not impossible?
