NYU Transfer Application FEE WAIVER !?!

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jun 28, 2014 5:53 pm

Just submitted my NYU transfer app on LSAC. The application fee was waived.
Is this an LSAC glitch?? Did I somehow win the transfer applicant lottery?

Can anyone provide an explanation for this?!?!

OP here. From the website: "The Law School does not waive application fees for this program."

Yes, NYU loved you so much, it decided to make an exception to its normal policy and waive your application fee. You should also be receiving a box of chocolates and a free Bluebook from NYU within a week as a token of its gratitude for your application.

That means you're a "presumed accept." As long as there aren't any major skeletons in your closet (AKA you disclose being a terrorist), you're automatically accepted. I hear they share stats with Harvard, so you're likely auto admit there as well. Congrats!!!
