Too late to apply?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jun 27, 2014 2:45 am

Roughly top 5 percent at a T20. Very little interest in transferring but would like more money. Didn't anticipate doing so well second semester so it didn't cross my mind until now. What should I do? Is it too late to get apps in time?

If you bust your butt, then you could make the deadlines for NYU and CLS.

It's definitely not too late to apply. Harvard (June 15), Stanford (June 15), and UC-Berkeley are no longer accepting transfer applications, but Yale (July 1), Columbia (July 15), Chicago (July 1), NYU (July 1), and I think Pennsylvania and UVA? (July 1?) are still accepting applications.

Even if you missed a deadline I'd call the law school and ask if they will accept your application. The more people that apply the better it is for the school. With your credentials, I'm sure many schools would make an exception. Schools understand that at some schools grades come out really late.
