Please Vote,
I'm trying to decide between these schools.
I'd like to work in small/mid/large law firms after graduation.
Don't really care which state I live in.
moving up from TTTT.
thanks!

None isn't an option? Paying full tuition for these is a not a great proposition.

Re: Please Vote,
none are worth paying sticker
how big of a scholarship are you currently on?
emory is clearly the best school without knowing where you want to live long term

Re: Please Vote,
The only school on the list that is objectively the best is Emory, and you're not getting into Emory by being in the top 30% at TTTT.

Re: Please Vote,
Emory usually cuts off at top 30% TTT.
Have you actually received an acceptance?

Re: Please Vote,
Like the LSAT, we are forced with having to choose the best option, yet it is on the worst list of schools. Stay put.

Re: Please Vote,
Dearest OP,
1.) What are your stats (e.g., class rank/GPA)
2.) What region is your TTTT in (e.g., NE, SE, WEST, etc.)
3.) Where do you want to live and work after law school?
You will need to answer these yourself, then maybe others can provide some help.
However, the schools you have selected are ... weak.

Re: Please Vote,
I assume, since someone paid for your first year, you will have minimal or no debt from Emory. If that's true, definitely go to Emory, but understand that you have a terrible shot at biglaw. Employers will look at your old school/rank, and at best assume you will retain the same rank at Emory, and top 30% at Emory is still a major uphill battle for biglaw. Add on the fact that you probably have no ties to ATL, and things look bleak for 2L OCI. After spending a year at Emory establishing yourself and networking, those red flags won't come up, but by then you'll be in the vale and it will be nearly impossible to find a biglaw job.Anonymous User wrote:JohannDeMann wrote:what kind of scholarship are you on now? how much are you in debt right now?

I think Emory at no debt is OK, but you need to be open to all types of employment. Congrats on the acceptance.
