Declining Transfer Admittance
Has anyone every gotten accepted as a transfer student but change their mind and refuse the acceptance? If so, I would love to hear your stories about why you did so and what, if any, drawbacks, regrets, or beneficial things occurred as a result.

Hah thanks for the input! I kind of meant for it to be a "Why did you stay at your current school over transferring?" question, but I appreciate the response.eriedoctrine wrote:Er, not much to say really.

Im sure people have been accepted that have ended up declining for a better school or staying at their own school. The only story to be had is the one that ends with ... "and I transferred."

Re: Declining Transfer Admittance
Lots of people apply to transfer with no intention of leaving their current school. They do it to leverage scholarship. For those who are unsure at the time they apply and want to explore their options, I'm sure some have stayed put for financial/personal reasons.
