UT Skype interview

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Jun 24, 2014 5:53 pm

I have a Skype interview with UT (Texas) this week. Anyone famliar with this? I have seen plenty of threads about Skype interviews but none specific to UT, especially transfers. Any info would be great. Do they ever admit on the spot? And specific questions they asked?

I had the interview today. Think it went ok. Hoping to hear back soon. I left with tht impression that decisions will likely be made before July 1st, so hopefull by the end of the week.

Anyone else do this?

Haha. Nah, I doubt it. My interview was ok. I'm hoping they were just checking to see that I wasn't a total weirdo and could actually speak.

You're applying this cycle? I've seen you in a few other transfer threads. What are your stats? Also, TX native?

I was already accepted at GULC when they asked if I wanted to interview, so I figured I would save myself the anxiety of skyping with them lol

I am not a resident of TX, but am a TTTT (FL), top 1%, 6 out of 8 book awards

Damn, 6/8 cali's. I guess you didn't suck too bad 1L... Would you go to UT>GULC or are you likely heading to DC?

I'll definitely go to GULC if not accepted anywhere else ranked higher (excluding Berkeley). I'd love NYU, Penn, or Duke, but doubt it.

Sorry to hijack your thread lol

Well GL man. An no, I appreciate the bump. I've got my fingers crossed that something will happen tomorrow. Anyone else out there still waiting to hear back from UT?
