A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

USC Transfer 2014

Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for USC transfer applicants. Anyone else apply?

I applied via their early decision program and got in... still waiting for UCLA before I fully commit. I'm an in-state applicant and am not sure whether the extra 10k in tuition cost at USC is worth it

thanks! nope, not yet. i'm still waiting for LSAC to receive my transcript/transmit it over to UCLA. i wish they had an online tracker.

I applied too, but unfortunately my school hasn't released my rankings yet so I can't send them my letter of good standing, and they said they won't begin reviewing without.

I have a 3.75 at TTTT in NYC, but very strong ties to CA.

I also applied to UCLA.

My application status says it went "Complete" on 6/16. Does anyone know if this will change to "Under Review" or will the next step be a decision?

2nd committee read same day as complete 7/1
Final read 7/8
