alright, i know this isn't a TTTT friendly environment but I'm throwing it out there because I want to see if anyone has any worthy advice other than the normal hating on TTTT/i'm stuck etc etc. I'm at a TTTT on half scholarship. Grades came out yesterday and I finished with a 3.4. I don't know where that puts me in terms of rank. I'm in Boston now but ideally would like to go back to NYC. Went to a top 20 undergrad, strong resume/some prestigious work experience (Manhattan DA/DC AG/a handful of firm experience)
any chance at an NYC school other than a lateral to NY Law?

Re: TTTT ---> ?
Apply to Cardozo. NYU and Columbia happen to be 'transfer friendly' schools, but may be too "high of a jump" from a TTTT. You have a chance of transferring, definitely apply.
Moreover, the TTTT cynical advice is an internet trend -- ignore it. Where will these trolls be when you have a J.D. from a substantially better institution? Still trolling.
Best of luck.

Thank you for your thoughts, I'm really hoping for acceptance to Cardozo but am also considering Rutgers Newark. One of my 1L professors suggested taking a shot at Fordham though its a stretch, any thoughts on either of those?

1) You definitely have a shot at Rutgers Newark Law... Are you cool with living in Jersey?Anonymous User wrote:Thank you for your thoughts, I'm really hoping for acceptance to Cardozo but am also considering Rutgers Newark. 2) Fordham will be a stretch. However, might as well apply -- nothing to lose.
