I'm currently at a top 30 school, with a 1L gpa of 3.84 on a 4.3 scale, and an award for top performance in legal research and writing class. My school does not rank, but I imagine I am around the top 5%.
Other potentially relevant info: 167 LSAT/ 3.1 undergrad gpa. California ties, have a masters degree in public policy from an ivy league school, and my dad went to HLS (but I'm pretty sure he hasn't contributed a dime to them as an alum, so not sure if that's very helpful).
I want to do clerkship and academia/big fed, so I have little doubt that transferring from my current school to H or S would be worth it. But I don't want to throw away $200 if I have little to no shot.
Worth it to try Harvard or Stanford? Forum
