Thank you!
If top 10%:

Columbia: Maybe
NYU: Maybe
Michigan: Admit
Penn: Maybe
NU: Admit
Duke: Maybe
GULC: Admit

If top 15%:

Columbia: Not likely
NYU: Not likely
Michigan: Maybe
Penn: Not likely
NU: Maybe
Duke: Not likely
GULC: Maybe

Don't take my word for it, but that should be how things go.

OP here thanks for the input.

If I am top 15% is there anything I can do to bolster my chances at the maybe schools such as a LOCI or if first choice telling them that if accepted I would attend?

Not really. Unless you have geographic ties to the specific school's region or are an URM.

Op again thanks again for the help.

One last question. My school gives us a precise rank like x/150. I will be right on the edge of Top 10%, but if I was like top 12% per se would that put me in a better position than top 15% or would it make no difference?

Thanks again

I thought there was no URM bump in transfer admissions?

I mean, transferring is an almost purely numbers game. So yes, top 12% would be better than top 15%.

It's still a secondary factor that would persuade an AdComm to choose the top 12% URM over the top 10% non-URM.

NYU is my first choice but seems like might be a reach. Thanks for the help. Good luck to you if you are transferring! :)
You should apply to NYU regardless.

I will and also to Columbia. If I am 11/12% would that be just a hail mary or a reasonable reach?

Would my answer dictate whether or not you give it a shot? :P

You've only got one chance so you might as well fuck the odds and give it a shot.

Based on Arrow's algorithm I think I should be T-14 safe because I am a worst Top 15% at T1.

Would being Top 11/12% be drastically different than Top 10? I guess you said it was a numbers game but we shall see.
