What are my chances?

3.75; probably top 10 in a 20-30 school.

Applying to Penn, Columbia, NYU, Cornell, and, because I've gotten weirdly lucky in the past, Stanford, Yale and Chicago.

Any other place I should transfer? Not transferring anywhere sub-T14.

I'd love to practice in NY, possibly Chicago; I have ties in Missouri and Chicago.

Does this affect my chances at transferring? I guess my interest in living in a place could show itself in a personal statement, but I feel it could also be faked.

Conventional TLS wisdom is that transferring to Cornell isn't worth it because they don't let transfer students participate in OCI.

Michigan places well in NY and Chicago, I'd say it's worth applying. You should be able to get into Penn, NYU, or Columbia though.

Probably in at NYU, Penn. Maybe Columbia. Don't go to Cornell. Out at the others.

Thanks for the information. Why the hell would anyone transfer to Cornell?
