UMich Transfer Question
Is it worth applying to UMich if you have negative interest in completing any of the optional essay questions? I'm kind of thinking that it is generally for regular applicants and not transfers (but I'm probably wrong).

Re: UMich Transfer Question
I don't get your question. No one wants to complete the essays, but if they ask for them, you have to do them. So buck it up and do them.

I applied to UMich too.
You are only required to submit the personal statement - not the optional essay.

Do you think it had any bearing on you getting in of not?

I did the optional essay and was accepted. No idea if it impacted my admission. But it can't hurt, don't be lazy. It doesn't even take that long.
