Does WUSTL make transfer students pay back scholly?
"Your award of xxx will be divided into grants of xxx for each of the next three academic years, and will be applied toward your tuition as long as you maintain your residency and full-time status at Washington Univ Law School."
This was the language of the letter. That doesn't mean one has to pay back if the student ever decides to transfer out, yeah?

Oh and also, if you're receiving the summer public interest stipend for your 1L position, they don't cut you off or make you pay back the money if you decide over the summer that you're transferring. WUSTL is good about that

I deposited at Wash U next year as a transfer. For those trying to transfer out, what's the deal?

I'm not trying to transfer out, but the same reason I imagine you are trying to transfer in.
Better job prospects, prestige, etc.
It's really just that simple...school is too provincial for me
