For personal reasons I think I might need to transfer from T6 to UCLA. (Not sure yet if I have to but if I do, I don't really see a way around it. Sorry, will not discuss here though).
I'm about top quarter of the class.
I know there's not much information on this so here's to hoping someone has answers:
1. Would UCLA offer me any money?
2. How would this affect me at OCI? Would this hurt me, and if so, how much? Note: I'm not that great at interviewing (although I am practicing) so I need all the help I can get. Also I (hopefully) will be able to raise my GPA this semester based on a variety of factors and I'm eyeing some V5-10 firms. How would grade cutoffs work if I transfer? Would I still have a shot if I were at UCLA? Targeting California firms
3. If I attend OCI at my old school, would employers even know I transferred?
4. Would my career service counselor give impartial advice on this or give me advice so I won't transfer?
