Is it possible? Which schools?
Some of the schools I contacted were not really clear about the possibility.

I applied to four last year. Penn and NYU will not accept your app (though NYU might try to keep the app fee if you don't bitch at them enough), and Columbia and Harvard are more than happy to take apps from part timers. Whether they give acceptances is yet to be seen.

IIRC, NU also doesn't take PTers either. It's couched in a credit minimum kind of way, and most PT students don't reach that minimum by the end of their spring semester.

I believe there is one person in the GULC transfer thread that is transferring to their part-time program.

Correct. And even if you hit the minimum by August through a summer course, they will still not want you.echooo23 wrote:IIRC, NU also doesn't take PTers either. It's couched in a credit minimum kind of way, and most PT students don't reach that minimum by the end of their spring semester.

I am a PT student at a Top50 school. Applied EA to GULC and was deferred. I am also planning on applying to other schools if I can knock this semester out of the park.
I am currently in the Top5%, if it matters.
Just a note, I am trying to transfer PT to FT.
Best of luck!
