Transferring to Vanderbilt
Lower T2 in the Northeast, top 5-10%, full ride at current school, friends in Nashville and family in reasonable driving distance. I hope to be at a firm or boutique, market doesn't really matter. I don't like large classes/sections and am averse to Georgetown for this reason and a few others. I plan on blanketing the T10 but don't expect much and think I have a better shot at Vandy despite a small transfer class. Any Vandy transfers here willing to share their experience or Vandy 2Ls with info on how transfers fared at OCI?

On a scale of 0-1 what are the chances of you being at UT?
I haven't seen much information on vandy transfers. I know the forum transfer spreadsheet up top lists some anecdotes, but very few.

UT as in Tennessee or Texas? Either way, chances are 0. I'm ok with my current school, but I would like to bump in rank because I'd like Biglaw or a lit boutique. That is less than a 5% shot at my current school. Plus, I'm a long way from home and would like to be closer for family reasons that just arose. I've searched Vandy transfers on the web and TLS forums and read everything, but there isn't much.holepunch wrote:On a scale of 0-1 what are the chances of you being at UT?

UT - Texas, not northeast
How the heck did you get UT, holepunch? Haha
I'm placing bets on Northeastern!
PS. I'm at a lower T2 in the Northeast and applied to GULC. Your class sizes won't be that big now that 1L is over.
