Looking for A School in the Bay Area

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Feb 28, 2014 12:39 am

My significant other may have a new job which will move us from the greater Sacramento area to Milpitas, and I'm looking into potential schools that I could transfer to in the Bay Area.

I'm currently a 2L at Lincoln in Sacramento, which is a state bar accredited, part time only school. I'm not near the top of my class but I'm not failing, my undergrad GPA was 3.3 and my LSAT score was 157.

I know that any ABA school is most likely out of the question, correct?

What state bar accredited schools in that vicinity does anyone recommend?

Any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

i dont think anyone who posts on this site is in this position. But if you are already a 2l you should know that you cant transfer now. transferring is done after 1l. There may be an exception for part time at a few schools, but normally the second school will only take 30 to 32 credits, so if you have already taken about 45 that is something to think about.
you may be able to be a visiting student at another school with your schools consent, you will have a degree from your first school while attending the second. Being able to say your SO is moving there for work in your app and when you talk to your school will also help.
