Currently top 5%-8% at UCLA. Would like to work in either LA or Chicago (not really looking at anywhere else). Doing a district court externship in LA this summer. Would employment prospects be that much better at Chicago? Worth it to ED? Currently have 30% discount off sticker @ UCLA which I would be giving up.

Only you can answer the "or". If you want to work in ChiTown, than a transfer makes perfect sense, particularly since UCLA is not giving you much. If you prefer SoCal for future work/life, stay.

Apply to all higher rank schools and get more scholly out of UCLA, and stay there-profit
