What sort of grades for DCNG to NYU/CLS?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Feb 19, 2014 1:22 pm

Living in NYC would make family situation easier. I realize this is unconventional transfer, but what sort of grades does it take to go from bottom of the t14 to the either NY school? If I'm somewhere around top 1/3 does that make me competitive?

Educated guess, but top 25% is probably a safer assumption.

Top 1/3 for MVPB (probs more accurate for Michigan than for UVA (VA ties), Berkeley (CA ties), or Penn (small class size))
Top 10%-20% for CCN (probs more accurate for NYU/CLS than for Chi (small class size))
Top 5%-10% for H
Top 1%-5% for YS

Definitely worth a shot if you stay in the top 1/3.
