Worth it to do Law Review Write-On at new school?
So....I got through OCI and the initial school transfer AND have thankfully, secured a Summer Associate position at a big firm. Now I quickly need to decide if I should do the Law Review Write-On at my new school. It is held during our 2nd week of classes. Would you do it? Pros/Cons. Experiences. Advice. BRING IT.

Re: Worth it to do Law Review Write-On at new school?
I did mine (though before getting my future S.A. position). But even if I already had the offer, I'd still do the write-on because:
(1) If you are interested, at all, in clerking, must do.
(2) If you might be interested in trading up after your S.A., must do.
(3) If you think there is a chance you might get no-offered at your S.A. (which might happen, it does these days...), do it.
(4) So far, for me, it's been a really nice way to meet people at my new school, which isn't the easiest thing when everyone already has their 1L comrades-in-arms.

What is the offer rate? For the firm.

Since Anon, what's the school?
And how many slots do they have for transfers out of how many transfers?
My last question would be is there a reasonably prestigious secondary that you can get on without writing on? If so, that's worth consideration, (though it's of course not LR).

I'm on e-board of my schools journal. It's the easiest thing ever. We are about to publish.
