Hello,
I will be transfering law schools, though I found this out after I already received my bid list lottery results. I happened to get almost all the firms I am interested in (transfering for personal reasons) but now am going to possibly lose some (depending on my new schools lottery results). The problem is the bidding for transfers at my new school is not until very late in the interview process season (it is after my original schools OCI)
Is their any way to basically email X law firm saying, hey I bid you, then lost you because transfer, but am very interested and now I am worried I will not be lucky enough to get you twice, since I already had an interview shceduled but my school is cancelling it because of trasnferring, can we meet anyhow?? (especially becuase they will be in the area I am currently working shortly) Is it possible to say that nicer in a way where it would work and not be wierd?

Re: Transffering and losing interviews, email employers?
You need to cancel the interviews anyway, so, in addition to doing so through Symplicity or however you're instructed to do so, it would be worth sending a brief letter or email to the recruiting coordinators/managers stating something along the lines of:
I am sorry that I am unable to interview with Bendini, Lambert & Locke at the upcoming interviews on ESU campus. I was very much looking forward to the opportunity to discuss my background and qualifications with The Firm. For personal reasons, I have accepted a transfer position at VCU Law and will be participating in their on-campus interview program. I hope that I will have that opportunity at VCU.
[leave out "with The Firm"; that was for all the John Grisham or Tom Cruise fans in the audience]

So no one liner at the bottom saying something about scheduling an interview outside of new schools OCI. Like, since I am no longer able to participate in OCI X if you would like to meet ... Something something....?
Also I am not even sure when my school sends my resume to them. I feel like it may go down like, hey to srry to cancel. A: huh u were never scheduled
