Just got done with a transfer interview... Forum

Earlier today I had my interview with a T1 (transferor school is a TTTT) school regarding my transfer application. The interview was less than 15 minutes and it was a lot like a job interview. Some of the questions definitely caught me off guard, and it didn't help that the woman interviewing me was expressionless/stone faced!

Accordingly, I've got some questions...

• - Do most people go through an interview process?
  - Is it a "middle step" to being accepted? Meaning, does it go: Deny or Interview --> Admit?
  - I applied late to the transferee school, and I wasn't aware it was rolling admissions; how long should I expect to wait to hear back?

Thanks for your help -- I didn't expect an interview!

This is way too vague to give you any input really. I've heard at UCLA, if you have an interview, its a really good sign. Whereas at some other school, it may just be routine.
