Thought I'd get this going for everyone waiting to hear back from Berkeley.

50 transfer here . . . top 3% (as of first semester grades). In the middle of finals week; lets see how it shakes out.

Anyone have any thoughts about scheduling a meeting with Dean Tom? I've heard mixed things as to how this meeting affects admissions decisions.

Been thinking about it, only because it's west coast and I hear they give need aid to incoming transfers that's been "abandoned" by outgoing transfers.

I applied, 1st in class (I think? Definitely was in sem 1 and I don't think spring grades shook stuff up enough since I was 1st in 3/4 of my spring semester classes), bay area tier 3, was a huge splitter on my 1L app (<3.0 undergrad, 177 LSAT), publications and alternate law review as 1L.

Under review as of 6/13.

I figure it's a crapshoot. I know they had the first round of acceptances out last year on 6/20, but the deadline for applications was 2 days earlier.

How long did it take from submitting the application on LSAC to getting the status checker email?

If anyone's school just posted percentiles like mine did, don't send them to Berkeley. I just called, and the admissions lady indicated that she found all of the calls today annoying and said that the dean doesn't look at them.

Was yours listed as under review in the status-checker before you got the email? The status checker has said I'm under review for like a week, but I never got an email.

Weird, I guess I just never got the "under review" email. They sent me two status checker emails, so maybe the second one was an error and was supposed to be under review email.

How long did it take to get a Status Checker email? Cause I got the Application Processed email which told me to check status occasionally, but no email with login and password.

Less than 24 hours for me, took 2 days for a friend of mine who submitted hers a bit later than I did (June 11, I submitted mine first day or second day of June).

I submitted on Monday. Got my "under review" email a little while ago. I guess they're looking through all of them around the same time? Did your review email say they hoped to have decisions by the end of June?

I went complete June 6th, but my under review email did not have any timeline in it.

I actually confused two emails. I received one earlier in the day saying they still needed my transcript...

Please be advised that your transfer application remains incomplete. We require a record of your fall and spring first-year grades and will accept your student or unofficial copy. Please email it to: admissions@law.berkeley.edu.

We anticipate concluding the review process by the end of June.

I got that too and I called them and said they sent out some incomplete emails today by mistake. I'd shoot them a call to double check.

I responded and included an unofficial. Said the official should have been received also. I got the under review email shortly after, so I guess they got things cleared up. I just included that because of the line about the end of June. Anyway...hope some of us get good news soon.

Absolutely... I think I saw somewhere that June 20th was the first round of admit calls last year. Best of luck everyone!
