Summer Classes while Attempting to Transfer

Post by ConverseQueen » Tue Mar 19, 2013 5:51 pm

Hello All!!

I need an answer to an important question.

I'm looking to transfer to a Philadelphia law school after getting back my 1L grades (I've even met with some of the admissions offices of these schools already).

I'm unlikely to get accepted as a transfer, but I'm trying to transfer due to location and my mother's health anyways. Well, I've applied for unpaid internships this summer and my current law school said that I should take 3 credits this summer to get some funding (I don't have family funding and the unpaid internships require 40 hours a week). By the end of this semester I will have 30 credits.

If I'm trying to transfer, will I be able to take summer classes? Also, if I can, would the school I'm transferring to likely take those credits?

Thank You!

Don't do the summer credits. They will not transfer if you already have 30 credits at the end of the semester.

Also, "anyways" is not a word.
